He is Secretary of the Orchid Specialist Group (OSG) and an honorary Research Associate at Kew. At Kidderminster College, Philip lectures on seed growing techniques both at Kidderminster College in the UK and in Latin America and has co-authored landmark scientific papers on the subject.
