Yates Thrive Natural Seaweed Tonic
Information
A seaweed tonic for plant and root health. Very helpful for improving plant resistance, to help protect plants from environmental stress (e.g. drought and frosts). Because it aids recovery from stress, it's an ideal choice for soaking plant roots, during potting up or transplanting, and afterwards.

- How to Use
- DIRECTIONS: SHAKE BOTTLE WELL. ALWAYS DILUTE Yates Thrive Natural Seaweed Concentrate with water before applying to plants or lawns. 1 capful = approximately 40 mL. Apply all year round as directed.

FREQUENCY HOW TO APPLY Planting new plants
Transplanting
40-80 mL (1-2 capfuls) At planting and at least once again after 2 weeks. Before planting, soak roots of new plants for at least 15 minutes, and after planting, apply all over leaves and soil. New lawns 40-80 mL (1-2 capfuls) Apply to newly laid lawns or newly-seeded lawns 1 week after germination. Repeat at least once after 2 weeks. Use 9L of solution over 18 m² using a watering can ideally with a sprinkle bar attachment. Established plants under stress
Lawns under stress
80 mL (2 capfuls) Apply before and after periods of stress and at least once again after 2 weeks. Apply over leaves and soil around base of plant, and lawn as directed above. Growth boost of established plants and lawns 80 mL (2 capfuls) Apply in early spring, and early autumn. Repeat at least once after 2 weeks. Apply monthly during rest of growing season. Apply over leaves and soil around base of plant, and lawn as directed above Delicate plants e.g. ferns and African violets 20 mL (half capful) Apply in early spring, and repeat every 2-4 weeks during active growth. For African violets, only apply around base of plant, do not apply to leaves.
- Do not apply if maximum temperature exceeds 30°C, the soil is dry or plants are suffering from moisture stress
- Early morning (recommended) or evening is the ideal time to apply
